Aloo Gobi

Shopping List

  • 2 Potatoes (medium)
  • 1/2 Cauliflower
  • 1 Onion (medium)
  • 4 tbsp Peas (fresh/frozen)
  • 1 Tomato (medium)
  • 1-inch piece of Ginger
  • 3 tbsp Cooking Oil/Low Cal Spray
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Fresh Coriander (for garnish - optional)
  • Aloo Gobi Masala spices


Peel and finely chop the onion, tomato, ginger and coriander.  Cut the cauliflower into small florets.  Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes and wash both the cauliflower florets and potatoes.

Cooking the curry

  1. Heat the oil/low-calorie spray in a large nonstick saucepan over medium heat. Add the contents of Aloo Gobi Masala Sachet 1 and fry for a few seconds.
  1. Next, add the onions and fry until lightly browned. Then add the ginger and cook for a further few seconds.
  1. Now add the cauliflower, potatoes, peas and tomato. Add contents of Aloo Gobi Masala Sachet 2 with 1 level tsp salt and stir.
  1. Pour 150ml of cold water and stir. Cover with a lid and cook for approximately 15-20 mins until vegetables are tender. Finally, check the seasoning and serve with fresh coriander.
