650g Diced Beef or 4 Chicken Breasts
4 Onions (medium)
Coconut Milk (400ml/1 Tin)
5 Garlic Cloves
2-inch piece Ginger
4 tbsp Cooking Oil/Low Cal Spray
1 tsp Salt
3 tsp Sugar/Sweetener
Fresh Coriander (for garnish - optional)
Peel and roughly chop the onions, garlic and ginger. Put all the ingredients into a blender with 3 tbsp cooking oil/low cal spray, 4 tbsp water and the contents of Malaysian Rendang Sachet 1. Blend all the ingredients until the mixture turns into a paste. Cut the beef or chicken, if necessary, into bite-sized pieces. Squeeze the juice of two limes.
